And then a curve ball

I was about 3 months into my raw food transition and sought out a blood test that would tell me foods to which I have an intolerance. I took the ALCAT test in March. I am still reeling in disbelief over the results. It turns out my body has intolerances to many foods and ingredients that I consider healthful. I will complete the 9 month plan, but it will be difficult. I cannot eat black pepper, vanilla, cocoa, flax, coconut, avocado, spinach, celery, strawberry, green beans, and more.

It has been a month that I’ve been eating according to this plan and I have to say I feel great. As difficult as it is, I am glad I’m on my way to the best health ever.
